Our Shawlers of Blessing Ministry creates crocheted and/or knitted prayer shawls for persons suffering with long-term illnesses, cancer and stroke victims, our congregational elderly over the age of eighty, and anyone else we feel needs to be uplifted in spirit for whatever reason. Upon completion, we pray for blessings over each shawl and hope the receiver will feel God's presence, His love and our each time they place the shawl upon their shoulders. In like manner, prayer blankets are given to newborns; and prayer pillows are sewn for suffering children, our college students, and military personnel.

Every night at 7:00 p.m. the Prayer Force meets in the Middle School Room and pray. We first read through all the prayer requests in our Prayer Basket and update cards as we get information. We also pray each night for a different family from our Church Directory. As we pray, we stand in a circle, holding hands, and some pray out loud while others pray silently. We all close together with The Lord’s Prayer. This Prayer Time is open to anyone to come and join us. If you would like your request to be prayed about, please use this form.
Here at Campbelltown U.M., we have a very strong desire to assist in God's mission in our own area and around the world. From monthly support of 7 missionaries to sending persons on short-term missions trips, our congregation has a real heart for missions efforts. From serving meals at a local mission, to donating food to a local food bank, to holding an annual missions festival, as examples, there are many ways here at Campbelltown U.M. for persons to get involved in missions efforts. Our missions commission is always looking for those with a desire to serve the Lord and a heart for missions to join us in organizing our efforts. For more information on how you can get involved, contact our pastor or the church office.
Are you in 7th through 12th grade? Do you want to hang out with other cool people of the same age? How do you feel about hanging out in a place called The Dungeon? If you answered "yes" to the first two, and "Great!" about the third, we have some very good news for you. Our Youth Group meets every Sunday evening from 6:30 to 8:30. We have a blast every week, and we'd love to have you join us. Watch our church calendar for other fun youth activities. If you answered "no" to the first question, you can still be a youth helper, so see Bob or Kelly Stouffer to get yourself on the guest list.
